Brunsdon Financial have had a long-standing relationship with The Pied Piper Appeal. The Gloucester-based charity exists to support children and their families during some of the toughest times of their lives. They do this by providing specialist equipment for the Children’s Centre at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital, as well as equipping children outpatient areas at hospitals across the county. They also provide local SEND schools with minibuses, sensory equipment and more, and arrange wish holidays for children with life-limiting illnesses. It is valuable and meaningful work.
With all this in mind Brunsdon Financial are proud and delighted to announce the appointment of our Managing Director, Marcus Gomery, to the charity’s Board of Trustees. Marcus has forged close working relationships with many of the board members over the years due to Brunsdon’s continued efforts to raise money for the worthy cause.
Some examples include funding a total refurbishment and ongoing maintenance for the children’s wash room at the Children’s Centre; contributing prizes for various raffles, such as tickets to the company’s corporate box at Gloucester Rugby; participating in many golf days over the years; and more recently donating all funds for the Brunsdon Financial 2020 Christmas party.
Of the appointment, Marcus said,
“I was overjoyed to be approached and feel humbled and privileged to be able to join the charity’s Board of Trustees; a talented and dedicated group of people whom I look forward to working with. I plan on carrying out my duties with the same vigour and passion that we operate with here at Brunsdon Financial and I’m excited to get started.”
