Who We Are
Brunsdon Financial is a 100% privately-owned, long-established financial services company incorporating Brunsdon Financial Services Ltd, Brunsdon Employee Benefits Ltd and Brunsdon Asset Management Ltd.
Our History
The company was established by Gilbert Brunsdon (pictured left) back in 1932. Initially it comprised an office in Gloucester city centre that provided life insurance and pensions services to farmers.
Throughout the 1950s and 1960s, the company continued to grow. As financial and investment products were developed, Brunsdon was able to offer a wider range of services to its customers. By the late 1970s/early 1980s, and due to the increasing complexity of the market, Brunsdon was reformed into an insurance broking arm and a financial services advisory arm. Our current Chairman, Brian Morman, joined the company during this phase of development (in 1983). Gilbert Brunsdon sadly passed away in 1982.
Brunsdon Financial Services and Brunsdon Insurance Services continued to grow apace. In the 2000s, the businesses separated and now operate as independent entities. However, we still work closely together and have many mutual clients.
Today we are recognised as one of the UK’s leading entrepreneurial financial services consultancies. We have chosen to retain the feel of a family run business, and some members of staff have been with us for over 20 years. Perhaps most importantly, we are still run according to Gilbert Brunsdon’s original business ethos of integrity, value and excellent customer service.

Our Charity Work

Our fundraising foundation, Heartfelt, has been raising money for local charities and sponsoring charitable events for decades.
Over the years we have contributed well in excess of £100,000 to good causes by riding, climbing, wing walking, zip-wiring, dancing, marathon running, selling (and eating!) cake, golfing – even writing books in aid of charity. You name it, we’ve done it!
