Lennie Conquers the Race to the Tower!

At almost halfway through our biggest charity year to date, our advisor Lennie has completed the Race to the Tower Ultramarathon.

Not at all for the faint-hearted, this monumental 53-mile race was set along the stunning Cotswold Way. Starting off at Whiteshill, the route took Lennie throughout our picturesque English villages and past iconic historical landmarks, on his race to the foot of the magnificent 65ft Broadway Tower.

18 hours and extremely tired legs later, Lennie completed his challenge and has so far managed to raise £1,297.00 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

On behalf of Brunsdon Financial, we would all like to say a huge well done to Lennie for his time and effort in raising money for MNDA and in raising money for our biggest charity year yet. Congratulations!

After the race, Lennie said:

“That is easily the hardest challenge I’ve ever completed. At some points pretty much everything hurt and my feet and knees felt like they were going to explode! Stairs are still not my friend, but I can now happily say I’m on the road to recovery. I’ve been blown away by the amazing number of supportive messages and the generosity of people who have donated to raise money for MNDA.”
