We are delighted to announce that Brunsdon Financial is sponsoring the ‘Best Place to Work’ Award at the newly launched SoGlos Gloucestershire Business Awards.
The Awards have been established to recognise and celebrate business innovation in Gloucestershire – the county in which Brunsdon Financial has been headquartered since it was first established in 1932. At a time when the business community has faced one of its most challenging years in living memory, we are looking forward to celebrating and recognising the great and the good.
Nominations for the Awards will be open from March until June 2021. Judging will take place in July, followed by the Awards themselves in September or October 2021 (date and venue to be confirmed).
Our Managing Director, Marcus Gomery, commented on his reasons for sponsoring the Awards:
“The year 2020 was extremely difficult for everyone. Like many businesses, since March 2020 the majority of Brunsdon Financial’s staff have been working remotely from home. It’s been challenging for us all as we’ve had to get used to new ways of operating, especially to not being able to see our colleagues or clients face-to-face. But we have got through it – and have even grown as a business – and we look forward to better times ahead.“
“Sponsoring the So Glos Awards provides us with an opportunity to celebrate some of the great businesses that are operating in the county. We’ve chosen to sponsor the ‘Best Place to Work’ category in particular because it fits very nicely with the work we do with our corporate clients.
