Swinging into Action for a Great Cause

Brunsdon Financial recently joined forces with local businesses and golf enthusiasts for a fantastic cause — taking part in the Pied Piper Appeal’s Annual Charity Golf Day at Brickhampton Court Golf Complex on Friday 27th June.

The popular event, which featured an 18-hole Texas Scramble competition, a halfway house, and a prize presentation dinner, was not just a great day out — it was a powerful fundraiser too. Thanks to the generosity of all who took part, the event raised an impressive £10,000 to help improve the lives of sick and disabled children throughout Gloucestershire.

Funds raised will support local special schools, the Children’s Centre at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital, vital mental health services, and Wish Holidays for children with life-limiting conditions.

Brunsdon Financial has enjoyed a long-standing relationship with the Pied Piper Appeal, regularly supporting its work through both fundraising and hands-on involvement. The company is proud to champion causes that make a meaningful difference to the community — and the golf day was a fantastic example of that spirit in action.

“We’re proud to support an organisation that makes a tangible difference to children’s lives across our community,” said Marcus Gomery, Managing Director of Brunsdon Financial and Trustee of the Pied Piper Appeal. “The golf day is always a brilliant occasion — and it’s made even better knowing that the funds raised go straight to supporting families and children when they need it most.”

Brunsdon Financial remains committed to supporting local charities and community events that align with their values of care, connection and community impact.
