Brunsdon Financial has recently acquired the employee benefits division of investment management company Brooks Macdonald, which has offices throughout the UK.
This has allowed us to open a new London office in the City’s Holborn district. From our Gloucester HQ at Goodridge House, the London acquisition is a major step in our expanding UK coverage, adding to our significant presence in Leeds, Bristol and Wales.
The development signals a major expansion in Brunsdon Financial’s business operations and follows hot on the heels of our recent corporate rebrand and strategic market re-positioning.
Operations director Sebastian Merritt said: “This acquisition underpins our business development goals and will add numerous corporate clients to our already substantial client base.
“We have been keen to improve our representation in London and the South East and this has provided us with the perfect opportunity to consolidate our presence in the capital as well as improving our ability to more effectively service our corporate clients in the North and West.
“Through the acquisition process, we have been able to bring on board highly skilled, experienced and qualified Client Relationship Managers and Administrators, adding additional strength and capacity to our existing employee benefits team.”
Commenting on the company rebrand, Brunsdon Financial Chairman Brian Morman said, “This was the perfect opportunity to adopt a modern, clean, fresh look. Our new brand launch emphasises our dedication to go the extra mile for our clients. Our new name, ‘Brunsdon Financial,’ previously ‘Brunsdon,’ is aimed at providing a corporate image that will serve all three of our companies, Brunsdon Financial Services Ltd, Brunsdon Employee Benefits Ltd and Brunsdon Asset Management Ltd. Brunsdon Insurance Brokers is unaffected by the rebrand and continues in its own right.

We think this is now evident in the new company statement, ‘Let’s talk about you.’ This emphasises our commitment to looking after our clients on a holistic basis.
