There has certainly been extraordinary volatility in the markets as they react to the uncertainty caused by the pandemic. We are confident that markets will recover over time, but understand the anxieties our clients are experiencing.
There is no standard answer to the question: ‘How will Coronavirus affect your pension’. Much will depend upon your age, how far away you are from retirement and also how your funds have been invested – for example, in cash or equities.
